Opinionated Beliefs - Grasshopper

I’m of the opinion that most of our beliefs are opinions, but we don’t believe that.

We believe that what we believe is the absolute truth, but what is true is that we have no proof.

If you’re arguing in your outside voice for what you believe, and have no evidence, you’re only displaying that you’re incensed.

The loudest one may win a battle or two, but lose the war of words to a coup, waged by those who expose your opinions as dog do.

It’s totally normal to have beliefs, we all do. But attempting to push them on others without verification, leads to vexation.

As The Grasshopper reminded us decades ago, “Real truth has no opposite,” so there’s no other side to the argument, because it’s impossible to put a dent in verifiable truth.

Please continue to offer your opinions to others, I know I will. But refrain from clothing them in the truth, because your credibility will just go “poof.”

All the best,
John
